Found this very inspiring video on YouTube. Made me cry.
I searched for a Free Hugs Campaign in the Philippines and found a yahoogroups which was empty. The Free Hugs Campaign forums did not have anything listed under the Philippines. Will a campaign of this sort be well-received here? Will people actually come up to you and hug you? Will politicians launch their own Free Hugs Campaigns alongside their election campaigns?

swear! it’s a nice campaign. some teenagers did it here in singapore. sa orchard lang naman. on a saturday. that’s the busiest day on that street. both locals and tourist walk along the street.
mcdonalds showed some of the clips in their store. ang cute.

This was done over 30 years ago. Even before most of us were born! It’s a noble revival.
Go AJ and start the ball in the Philippines. You’ll definitely attract the media with your good looks and telegenicity (is there such a word?LOL). Honestly.
Anyways, if you wanna do it. Go right out there and do it. NOW! (or maybe tomorrow, if it’s too late today).
Nothing would be more shitty than seeing somebody else doing your idea out there. So, GO! Just do it!

Fucken out dude! I had a hard time fucken deciphering the Fil words at you other blog — wha’d’ f’? Iwas laughing out loud when I learned what you guys meant by “Truly Asia”! Fucken out! LOL
What in d’world are you guys gonna do in Kinabalu? Of all places in M’sia! LOL. Expect a city that looks like Zamboanga or Jolo. That’s all there is. Just kidding! I saw these cities 8 years ago.

lol! hahaha. Truly Asia is now a term loosely used here to refer to Malaysia, taking after the Malaysian ads with the theme song that says “Malaysia, truly asia”
Kinabalu isn’t that bad at all. Well, at least the hotel/resort we’re staying at isn’t. Lol!
