    hi, ive got to listen to ur podcast and sounds so kinda bit sad. well, u know, ive grown as an independent person and i kinda bit experienced what u have had. after my grad, i applied and worked here in makati for almost 3 yrs then after that i tried to apply for abroad and im lucky enuf, i was hired. ive been in saudi for almost 5yrs and then i started to live on my own. coz i lived alone in a room, i started also from nothing till i started to received my salary and begun of buying electro and appliances. thanks god ive got what i wanted…almost everything.

    @Rei

    isn’t it satisying and fulfilling once you see what you’ve acquired? apart from that, knwoing that you’re independent is one great thing as well!

    I hope you’re renting-to-own where you’re staying now, as opposed to just renting it. Nice podcast as always :)

    No eh. I’m still saving up (or at least trying to, but saddly, in vain hahah) for a downpayment or something of that sort. Most rent-to-own condos kase are not ready for occupancy. Pero that’s my project this year, get a condo or home of my own through financing. :)

    Thanks sa papuri. Nape-pressure tuloy ako for the next one. Hehehe. any suggestions for a topic?

    Hmm, how about your favorite hang-out places? Or favorite hang-out places of PLUs?

    @Misterhubs

    Hmm… magandang ideya yan… :) Salamat

    It was nice listening to your podcast. It reminded me when I left my parents’ house to live on my own. My parents are of Filipino lineage but I moved here in the US when I was 6 months old. I embraced that challenge that I have to be independent after turning 18. It was difficult, exciting, excruciating, eye-opening, and at the same time humbling. It really made me enjoy/cherish all of my accomplishments and successes. Hope we could meet someday. you sound like a great person to talk to. Godspeed.

    @goodguyguam

    Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. It is indeed difficult and exciting at the same time. I think there’s more pressure for you guys who grew up in a different society as it is more of a need rather than a luxury to move out and live on your own. :) SUre would love to meet you one of these days. :)

    im kinda scared, i just hope that everything works out fine for me.
