(Dirty Remix of the video after the jump)
We know many of you have already seen this video countless of times, but hey, we lurve the video, and Cazwell too, so we’re posting some of his videos here. His first single, All Over Your Face was banned on MTV, but it was used as part of the soundtrack of Another Gay Movie. All Over Your Face is his 21st century funk-rock overhaul of “Is It All Over My Face,” the 1980 disco classic by Loose Joints. In December of 2006, Cazwell released his second album, Get Into It.
Oh and yes, dear friends, he is gay. Now you might ask what in the world a gay (and white) man is doing in the hip-hop scene? Well, here’s his take on it:
“I want to make gay people cool again. Yeah, we have Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, but not all gay men want to makeover your house. Growing up gay, you have to think outside the box your whole life. I want to show what the gay mind can do for hip-hop, for electronic music, and how interesting that take can be.”
Well, watch the videos, listen to his music, add him up on Myspace and you’ll see why Cazwell can shoot all over MY face! Yumburger!
In an interview with Justin Boltz of Chicagopride.com, Cazwell revealed what type of guys would he let get “it all over your face” and here’s his reply:
JB: First off, what type of guy would you let get it “all over your face?”
Cazwell: Hmm, what really keeps my attention is a deep sexy voice, you know what I mean [yes! yes! Listen to my podcasts! -aj]— ? You could have a hot looking guy with a tight body in front of you but if he sounds like your mom you don’t wanna f*ck him. I like brown eyes [I have dark brown eyes, sweetie! - aj, again] and I’m definitely more drawn to artists and passionate people [oh! Me! Me! (aj raises his hand in desperation) watch my videos, you'll see passion and artistry!].
