Go! Mastercard is a “No! Mastercard”

It’s been more than ten business days since I called Metrobank about my Go! Mastercard replacement card, but all the representatives could tell me was that it was already with the courier and all I needed to do was wait for the card.  I have given the poor phone agent a lashing. It’s standard operating procedure for them for the replacement cards to arrive within, again, WITHIN, five to ten business days.  I called them last August 6, but it’s already August 21, I still don’t have the replacement card.  That’s the credit card that I have dedicated to paying for my server and other online costs.

logo_gomastercard.jpgGood thing my back-up, my trusty Bank of the Philippine Islands credit card, has been replaced within three business days. So much for “Go!” in “Go Mastercard!”.  I’m thinking of just letting “GO!” of the Go Mastercard, use the balance transfer features of my BPI or my other cash back credit cards.  That way, I can finally rid myself of this sucky credit card whose collections department is a hundred times more proactive as their customer service department!

Tip for anyone who plans to get one, compare credit card offers and ask around for banks which have exceptional customer service! Now excuse me while I call the bank and calmly ask them to tell me the difference between their business day and my business day.

Sobra ngang maningil yang Go! Ang mahal pa ng charges. Yoko na rin sa kanila.
