Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez on TAR Asia 2
“No Amazing Race show can be without its hunk factor and that is where Marc and Rovilson from the Philippines come in. This is one team with the two flamboyant individuals, who dish out a mixture of comedy and ego with a ton of sass. Both TV hosts by day, Rovilson also works as a magazine editor while Marc is a model, whose face, and rather well toned body, has graced the cover of many magazines.”
This is the introductory statement on Marc’s and Rovilson’s profile on The Amazing Race Asia 2 website, save for the flamboyance. And we here at BAMR definitely agree that this team is indeed the hunk factor in this race. We’re hoping though that this second season of Asia’s franchise of The Amazing Race (which we are a big fan of) will not disappoint us like they did with their first season. The first season just sucked.
We’re also hoping that Marc (and, fine, Rovilson) won’t be as syongaers as the Philippine teams (Aubrey Miles and Jackie and Ernie Lopez and wife) and get eliminated early in the race. We’re banking on Marc’s experience hosting and participating in different sporting and extreme sporting events in Sports Unlimited will work for their team’s favor. Okay, so let’s also not discount Rovilson’s experience with Gameplan. (Disclaimer, it’s not that we hate Rovilson, we just LOVE and ADORE Marc Nelson).
Oh and yeah, there’s also another team from the Philippines, the husband and wife team of Henry and Trinidad. We won’t talk much about them so just read their bios here. Meanie are we? Not really. Of course we want them to win too, but our eyes and pants are focused on Marc Nelson. We just can’t get enough of Marc Nelson. Yummmmmmm….
We checked out the other teams but it seems that we will only be rooting for the teams from the Philippines (love your own, of course) and this other team from Indonesia — all because of the hot physiotherapist (we’re not talking about the girl)! Meet Brett… Brett is a physiotherapist from Indonesia. Okay, that’s all, thank you.
So what do we expect from our Hunk Team? Of course, winning TAR Asia 2! And a little nudie shows (like Derek and Drew in TAR 4) wouldn’t hurt. Yummy Yummy Screw Me! Hopefully, the producers have learned their lessons from the first season and won’t bore us to death with Season 2. Oh well.
And fartingdales! My cable TV provider doesn’t have AXN! I guess I will just resort to veoh downloading - hopefully someone uploads them.

Its a good thing they lost. Bunch of arrogant guys. I was rooting for anyone but them. Good looks turn unattractive whenever Marc and especially Rovilson turn to be arrogant jerks and doing tricks to deter other teams, its just not a good display , i know its a competition, but u dont have to do those things to win and the winners proved just that. COngrats to Colin and Adrian.
