After I featured Charice Pempengco in my Hot Filipinas video, an entry to the Filipina Writing Project, I sent her a message on her Myspace account telling her about it. She was nice enough to send replies to my messages and was very thankful. I think by now she know that she deserves to be given honors more than just that video. This kid is just so wonderful!
And after seeing her on Ellen (clips below), I think many of us are now beaming with glee as this little big star becomes the big international star that she deserves to become.

Yup, you gotta love this girl. The voice is really amazing. I listened to a lot of her youtube clips, I’ve noticed that she never faltered and she looked like she really enjoys what she’s doing. She didn’t have any difficulties in changing pitches and tones.
BTW, nice meeting you in last night’s party. I was with two of my friends. bye po!X
