I do think New Year’s resolutions can’t technically be expected to begin on New Year’s Day, don’t you ? Since, because it’s an extension of New Year’s Eve, smokers are already on a smoking roll and cannot be expected to stop abruptly on the stroke of midnight with so much nicotine in the system. Also dieting on New Year’s Day isn’t a good idea as you can’t eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. I think it would be much more sensible if resolutions began generally on January the second.

2007 was a great year for Baklang AJ. Well at least in a non-personal way since both love and sex lives were dead. But 2007 is quite exceptional and something he will remember . It was on this year that Bakla Ako, May Reklamo? officially started. We met a lot of different kinds of people, exchanged views and ideas with the world, and became more proud of our sexuality. We faced things which we did not think were gonna faze us. We fell in love and lost, but we had fun.
So whatever 2008 brings us, we will welcome it with open hearts, open minds, open arms, and open legs. So 2008, Kamuning!
Kamuning get me, get me, get me
Baby I’m yours
Kamuning get me
You’ll never be lonely, lonely, lonely
So baby, Kamuning get me!
Have a Fantabulous 2008, mga Bakla!
