Gay Survivor Todd Herzog’s Connexion Profile

Survivor China has just concluded and out gay contestant Todd Herzog emerged as the winner of the million dollars beating other contestants Courtney and Amanda. We have not really followed this series in the same way that we follow other TV shows such as Heroes, Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl and Brothers and Sisters, but we do get glued to the television set everytime Survivor’s on.
In late November, Instinct Magazine had Todd on the cover with a semi-spoiler and quite intriguing caption:
Exclusive! Million Dollar Man. Survivor China’s Todd Herzog
Some people wondered whether that cover was a spoiler and whether it was a breach of a confidentiality clause in the competition or not. In any case, we kind of already knew, or at least expected, that this scheming little bitch whom we love so much would bring home the bacon. And he did. And we’re happy!

Around the same time the cover was released, we stumbled upon a profile on (an online social networking/dating site) that had the same cover as the primary photo. We checked out the profile and raised our eyebrows. We’re so used to seeing online fakers and instinct (pun not intended) told us that we needed to take the profile with a grain of salt. So is this profile fake or not? We tried to find out by sending him messages and asking him a few questions. Not that that method would work, or if that was sufficient to prove or disprove the veracity of the profile as Todd’s.
