YouTube celebrities are now a dime a dozen. And each sector of our society has its own representations: political, music, teens, singers, bands, actors, etc. One of them is the Filipina Happy Slip. We here at Bakla Ako, May Reklamo believe that HappySlip is a good example and may probably be representative of the idiosyncrasies of Filipino (and Filipino-American) culture.
And talking about representation, many of us also know that the gay community is well-represented in YouTube (except of course for some issues on censorship). Many of us are familiar with William Sled, the fashionista gay guy (famous for his Ask A Gay Man series), who eventually landed a contract with network NBC. Of course some of us have also seen Chris Crocker, who’s now quite viral, thanks to his “Leave Britney Alone” video. And then, there were some… more!
For the first time, all four have teamed up to make a video to discuss their feelings towards each other and hopefully breakdown some stereotypes about gay people. Or maybe they will just say bitchy things and do bad imitations of each other?! Either way! It’s a sure winner!

In this video from the What The Buck Show, four (actually, five) of YouTube’s most influential and humorous gay men collaborate and poke fun at each other! It also pokes fun at homosexuality and the viewer must have in themselves even just a small piece of a funny bone. Some people may think that this video is offensive and some people may use this a takeoff point for launching an anti-gay campaign. So please, watch this with your tongue in your cheek. Kaye? Kaye!
