Nude Paintings and Drawings by Valentino F. Zubiri

This is the first time that I will be posting something nude in this blog. It has always been my self-imposed policy that I will never post any photo or video that shows the complete human male form. No cocks here. It’s quite ironic though because one of my most-visited posts is that which showed the world’s largest cock, which does not show any REAL cock at all but a statue of a cock in China.

But today, I will violate my own policy and post nudes. But before you click on that x button (or CTRL+W on Mozilla Firefox), hear me out for a second here.

Someone sent me an email sometime last week telling me about himself and his work. Valentin Zubiri (not related to the senator) is a gay Filipino artist based in Chicago. And a Valentino F. Zubiri Gay Nude Paintings and Drawings good artist he is. Valentin recently compiled all his work - nude paintings and drawings - into an ebook and uploaded it to the Internet. In less than 30 days, his page on scribd.com got more than 500 visits (not so bad for someone new). Concurrently, his rapidshare account (where you can download the ebook for free) also got more than 500 downloads.

This is great news for a struggling gay Filipino artist who’s based in the United States. It is very rare that artwork that seem gay-oriented get noticed anywhere in the world. But with the help of the Internet and with the growing interest in gay art, Val surely has started breaking through.
