Bakla Conquers Mt Daguldol (Part 3)

This post is Part 2 of a series of entries about my hiking trip to Mt Daguldol. (Part 1 here Part 2 here)

Since I was inspired by Jayvee’s comics-type entry about our Mt Daguldol Adventure,  I decided to continue my story in photos (Gaya-gaya kase inggitera!).  I will no longer bore you with all the teeny details of the trip.

After the Fasyon shoot, we started moving up again. The trail got more difficult as we moved closer to the top, so I decided to distract myself by blabbing on about any topic I could think of. I’m not sure if I was just making myself believe that it worked, but talking while walking sure did give me the drive to get to the top.

After pitching our tents (yes, I have revisited tent-pitching through a crash course with Koya Dino), Kuya Ricky started cooking our food.

And because we’re schuschal and high-maintenance, we had:

Since it was already dark, I took out the “party” headlamp that my friend Derick graciously lent me for this trip. I called it a party headlamp since it had like 8 different light settings, some of which you can see in clubs and bars! Ushtug ushtug!

I slept for a good eight and a half hours, snoring endlessly. At 4:30 AM, I stepped out and smoked a couple of cigarettes. I was the first one up! I was kinda regretful though that I did not stay up any longer the previous night. I wasn’t able to take a bath, I missed the Friday night edition of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus (I brought my TV-Phone with me solely for that purpose, and I missed out on the Chikatime moments post-dinner.

To be continued…
