If watching Cinderella is a treat, and watching Lea Salonga perform as Cinderella is an added treat, then watching-Cinderella-with-Lea-Salonga-performing-as-Cinderella-then-blogging-about-it-and-winning-prizes is a triple treat!
Yes, there is an ongoing contest related to Cinderella sponsored by the LeaSalongaFansClub (in Multiply ). This contest is for bloggers and the prizes are definitely to die for:
- First prize: $100, plus Cinderella soundtrack album (the one that Lea and cast are recording in Manila) and original US-made DVD copies of The Making of Miss Saigon and Hey, Mr. Producer! (AJ: If you haven’t seen Hey, Mr. Producer!, then you’re missing half of your Broadway life!)
- The two co-finalists will receive the same package minus the $100 cash prize.
- Everyone else who participates will also get a chance to win something, with more copies of the Cinderella soundtrack album and DVDs to be raffled off.
Now ain’t those prizes sweet?
And just like Cinderella, we also need to be home before the clock strikes midnight. Which means, that we also have to follow some basic rules. Read them below to know how basic “basic” is.
The rules
- Watch Cinderella and blog about it.
- For Multiply users, leave a comment in the >LeaSalongaFansClub homepage with a link to your blog entry, or in the Multiply sites of Mitz or Mikaela. For non-Multiply users, leave a comment/link here or e-mail your entry to leafansite@yahoo.com, with “Cinderella” as subject.
- The entries will be winnowed down to the Top Three.
- The contest runs July 29-August 24, or the entire Philippine run of Cinderella. Winners will be announced on the week of August 25.
Cinderella has already started its run at the CCP Main Theater so be sure to check it out before your carriage turns back into a pumpkin!
