i so love bags. napaka essential nia especially sa lifestyle of a misz like me. (bwahaha) eversince college active na ako sa mga extra curricular AS IN SOBRA talaga. ive been doing events/activities simultaneously aba leader leaderan ang yours trully eh. with that i always keep my (medio run out na) classic jansport bag handy- actually its a gift, plain lang siya, ito ata ung isa sa mga pionera nilang designs. what i like about it ay sobrang kasya lahat ng kailangan ko dun dahil sa space na offer nia. from costmes sa plays ko sa UST, to file folders na laman ay sangkatutak na mga for approval na activity letters at idagdag mo pa ang mga readings ng boring classes.
it never fails talaga,
super helpful siya at matibay ha.
and ow by the way na meet ko pla ang una kong \’jug\’ sa Galera because of that bag! ahaha! panu ba naman sa bangka papunta nagkatabi ang mga bagelya…magkapareho kami ayun nagkapalitan, effort na naghanapan, nagsolian, nagpalitan at un na nauwi sa kemehan hehe…
see my bag is not for \’serious\’ stuff lang…pang KATI din! haha
(natatawa ako bumabalik memories…)

There are two experiences in my life that have been significant when talking about using Jansport bag. The first one was back when I was 12 when my parents had a really big fight. The tension was so intense that my mother and I had to pack our things and move out of the house for a while with my little brother. I remember using my classic red-maroon Jansport bag on our way to my lola’s house in Laguna. During the trip I was crying on one side of that bag while holding it. That’s why I was so surprised with this contest because that moment that I mentioned is something that I can’t forget. The other story was when the first time that I was permitted to sleep overnight with my friends. That was when I was already a 4th year college student. Just imagine all those overnights that I missed before that day. I was really excited. It was an overnight swimming in Pansol with my college barkada. And of course, the bag that I was using was a black Jansport bag.I super love my Jansport backpacks!

My mom gave me this Jansport backpack way way back. It’s huge and white. I didn’t like it cause it looks so big and just for boys. And back then,I didn;t know Jansport is like a little expensive. And so Im left with no choice but to wear it to school. So my classmates were like teasing me,”why do you carry those big backpack”.And I was very ashamed on it.But there came a time they’ve been in on school, so i was like”Ha! Im the first one who got them” ..Like a proud momma.
) I useit everytime me and my family go out of town.It has alot of use not just for school, but for everywhere. It’s really cute and useful in so many ways.
And since Jansport backpacks with cute patterns on it are so in trend right now for students.I am planning to buy one.So i google-d where i can find them. And here you are being an angel giving away a free backpack.:)
Thanks for this contest

Me and My Backpack, a 7-year old boy’s story as told to his mom…
Everyday I bring a backpack to school. I don’t really need to because I have a big stroller bag, but I still do.
I wait for my mom to pick me up after school. She says she cannot park if she goes there early so she picks me up at least thirty minutes after the bell rings… if it rains it usually takes her a lot longer. This is the time I open my backpack and get my snacks and drinks. I also stash books I borrow from the library in my backpack so I have something to read. I also put my wallet in my backpack so I can buy food or drink from the canteen in case my baon runs out. My backpack is my friend, it holds everything I need until my mom comes to get me. It keeps me company while I wait, and I can’t imagine being without it.
I love my backpack, even now that it’s a little worn I wouldn’t exchange it for any other bag in the world.

I graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila. During that four years of college, I only used 1 bag – my green backpack which accompanied me through thick and thin. It was given to me by mom as a birthday gift during my last year in high school. Knowing that I will soon be entering the university, my mom made sure I will be having a sturdy bag to carry all my stuff (which turned out to be just a notebook and my kikay kit since I seldom buy textbooks for myself back in college). At first I was turned off with the backpack given to me – imagine, its green! I would have preferred pink! But as time went by, my green backpack proved to be very useful. For one, I was not able to have it washed all those for years and it still looked the same green backpack I received during my birthday!
I was able to easily fit in my new university with my green backpack. After all, I am at the University of the Philippines where everyone uses no other bag but a backpack. Plus, the green color matched the University’s official colors!
My green backpack was my constant companion all those four years. I hiked with it, went to rallies with it and survived pickpocket fiascos with it. Yeah, my bag was slashed two times – both times while I was inside the jeepney. The zipper was opened twice at Quiapo and taft Avenue. But I’m happy to say that my bag and I survived in one piece!
My bag witnessed my transition from the high school girl to the grown up I have become. And my bag transitioned too! It started clean before I entered UP. After four years, my bag is already unrecognizable with all those button pins attached to it – from the pins used by political groups in campus, pictures of Che Guevarra and Mao Zedong to the more conservative logos of my organization. My green backpack became a testimony of the political ideology I was supporting during my college years.
But wait, did I mention that my green backpack also shared my crying moments? We did! I was in Baguio when a guy whom I dated for sometime told me that he liked another guy. So there I was, under the Oblation at UP Baguio, with my green backpack. But since I was too embarrassed to let others know I was crying, I cried my heart out while covering my face with my backpack. I sobbed all afternoon but thank God, my back pack is absorbent, it absorbed all the tears!
After graduation, I let by bag retire. If I had a choice, I would have used it in law school. But nah – its time to get a new one. It has been years since I parted with my green backpack. But it shall remain a proof that yes, I survived my four years of college — tattered, but in one piece.
