Bakla Goes to the Eraserheads Reunion Concert

Thanks to Red Horse Beer, I was able to watch the much-awaited reunion concert of the Eraserheads!

The concert may have been cut short (because Ely Buendia was rushed to the hospital during the 20-minute break), but I still enjoyed it. It was so much fun to watch the boys who sang theme songs to my erstwhile love lives (as if there were any), theme songs which gave me hope, and theme songs which opened up my eyes to the realities of this world.

At the concert, it all dawned on me that I was getting old (And will get older in about 6 days)! Oh how time flies. I may not be the biggest Eraserheads fan out there, but I love them! At the end of the day, what matters most is that I got to experience this once in a lifetime experience. If there will be a second reunion concert, I don’t know. All I know is that that Eraserheads Reunion Concert is an experience that I will forever treasure. It’s one for the books. And definitely one for my grand kids.

(I don’t know why but as I was writing this entry, Ang Huling El Bimbo kept playing in my head.)
