- Mariah Carey’s latest album, E=MC2, sold 154,000 copies in the U.S. on its first day. The numbers may look too shy compared to the first-week release of her 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi (which sold over 400,000 copies on its first week), but it may take the top spot in the Billboard 200 chart.
