I still can’t believe she actually won the crown! I can just imagine what would happen to her in Ms World. The judges were probably bribed.

i’m praying for janina. hindi nya kasalanan na manalo. siguro may nakita ang mga judges sa kanya para manalo. ok naman siguro sya sumagot sa pre-pageant ninerbiyos na lang sya sa mismong pageant. pero kung ganun naman talaga sya hindi naman basehan yon. instead tulungan na lang sya at palakasin pa lalo ang loob nya to win sa ms world.i know ang Binibining Pilipinas Charities ay gumagawa na ng move para maimprove ng husto si janina. Pagbutihan mo Janina at sana kahit makuha ka lang sa mga finalist ok na yon. pero kung yung crown mas maganda para kahit pano hindi ka na nila tatapaktapakan. hayaan mo lang sila masaya sila sa ganun. just pray hard at pagbutihin mo pa ang training. God bless.

Yes, but isn’t it also sending the wrong kind of message that they prioritize beauty over brains?

Bb. Pilipinas and other beauty pageants in general are about looking for a role model, not just a model. It’s not always about who has the prettiest face.

Huwag naman nating pagtawanan ‘yung bata. She tried her best. Ikaw nga ang tumayo at rumampa d’un nang naka-high heels at sumagot ng isang tanong right off the bat? Kayanin mo kaya?

At kailan ba naman naging sukatan ng pagkatao (o pagka-Pilipino) kung magaling magsalita ng Ingles o hindi ang isang tao? Does her shortcoming make her any less of a person? Naman! Kaya walang asenso ang Pilipinas eh. Dapa na nga, tinatadyakan pa. Tsk, tsk.

by the tone of her voice and in the general direction that her statement was going, yes. She blamed her malapropism to her age. Her logic was that because (1) she’s only 17 years old and (2) it was her first pageant, she was excused from committing mistakes.

Alex, you have to understand that not all teenagers are as smart as you are or as non-smart as Janina is. Looking at her interviews even after the pageant, it seems as if she really has trouble not only speaking but also UNDERSTANDING the English language. So cool down and cheer up, it’s not your fault she’s not smart!

Ooooh…so her own reason for her sudden spacing out on one of the most prestigious (well, not anymore anyway XD) beauty pageants in the country, not to mention on live TV, was her AGE?

God help us.

So she’s trying to make teenagers look like we’re such idiots. Is she out of her mind?? LOL. A traitor to our entire generation, I tell you XD.
