Look at this David Beckham ad from Armani. What do you notice?

Take a look. Closer. Closer. Closer. Okay, not too close. No, we’re not talking about this long schlong. Did you notice the area around his prized possession? It seems all too clean and well, hairless. Many have suggested that it might be because of the wonderful photoshop magic called airbrushing. That or he just has a natural glabrousness. And some think that it might be because David Beckham got a Boyzillian.

A what? A Boyzillian:

When a male gets a bikini wax in his pubic region. The hair on the scrotum, above the anus and around the penis is all taken off except for a small patch of hair on the top base of the penis.

Simply put, a Boyzillian is a Brazilian wax done on men. Theere is no confirmation if Becks indeed got a Boyzillian. And even if he did, he is not starting a new trend but following it. The Guardian, a UK paper, reported that there is an influx of men trooping to salons and spas to have the grasses around their goalposts mowed:

All over the country more and more men (gay and straight alike) are marching into beauty salons and demanding a “Boyzilian”, or as one Yorkshire-based salon bills it, “the Full Monty”. In other words, the complete or near-complete removal of hair in intimate areas using wax. If you have £120 to spare, you can even get it done in Harrods, in the Refinery spa. Many men — most of them straight, mind you — are beginning to love the idea of having their upper thighs, inner thighs, and their bikini lines cleaned, cleared and ready for smooth action:

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I will ever get a Boyzillian, unless of course David Beckham asked me to, in exchange for a lifetime with him! I normally am on the lookout for new trends and shiznit like that, but this one, I think is not worth following. I don’t think I can handle that much pain in me private area. But that’s just me.
