Even the hotness of Phelps’ couldn’t save him to have a better cover than Spitz.

But despite the cover to never make it through Tyra Banks’ standards of fierceness, the bigger mistake here was the choice of who was to take the picture. Bruty should go back to his photography 101 for allowing such grotesque outcome.

I have heard the halter top comment before, and I think the photo of Spitz just works much better, a lot due to the fact that the style of the medals work for the picture better. I also saw on CNN that the photgrapher only had 10 mins with Phelps to take the picture.
There is also the issue that the photographer failed to get Phelps’ suit in the shot, giving him a naked appearance, whereas Spitz’s red white and blue is clearly visible!
It’s cool that they used Spitz’s photo for inspiration, but Phelps’ pic is definitely not better!

I think the red halter top looks better, but they could have used a different background color then red. Funny how they both have a similar pose though.
