While we’re waiting for Episode 3 which airs tonight (and other nights this week), we’ll share some quotes from last week’s episode!
Lord Maturan:  Chismis to sa Mascara!

Veejay Floresca:  The Veejay Floresca that you can see in my dress is basically the craftsmanship.

Someone: “Double time daw.”
Aries Lagat: “Double your watch!”

Aries Lagat: “Kelangan ko pang umuwi.  kelangan ko pang magpakain ng baboy no?”

Lord Maturan: “We’re going to die!”
(to Lorymer) “Star ka talaga!  Ikaw na!”

Ivan Raborar: “So far, kerri ko pa naman.”

Ava Paguyo: “But I hope that when I’m done, I could say that this dress, is like it’s when Mr. Ben and I married, this will be our kid.”

Aries Lagat: “Oh my god, my jacket’s here! Sige diyan, ka lang ha, si kapatid mo, mamaya… Sasama na siya sa iyo.

Aries Lagat (to Loida’s garment on a dress form)
Tabi diyan! Bakit nilalagay niyo dito? ‘Wag niyo itatabi sa akin. There’s a big difference.

Jaz Cerezo (as a reaction to Aries’ comment): Aaay, maldita!

Eli Gonzales (on Aries Lagat): “I just can’t look at him.”

Eli Gonzales (on Aries Lagat):  I would rather be an inspiration for the kids than to be an annoying talented person. Eli with the stars rather than a bad haircut. Look at him.  If I’m his mom or his dad, I will spank him all day!”

Ava Paguyo: I cry when I’m stressed.  And I’m very very stressed right now. I did not anticipate the stress levels of this competition.

Eli Gonzales (on his Fashion Legend): Mine is Christian Santiago
Jojie Lloren: Espiritu!

Jaz Cerezo: Yes, very Japan!

Jojie Lloren: “Wag kang tumawa diyan. You work!”

Jojie Lloren: My comment is that it doesn’t look Muslim at all.  Parang naging African!

Lorymer Villareal (on his garment): Draga!

Jaz Cerezo: Magaganda lahat. Pagandahan na lang!

Philipp Tampus: Sinong mai-eliminate?
Lord Maturan: Lahat kayo!

Rajo Laurel: Nakakatakot!

I had been a fan of the program Project Runway since it’s first season. I was happy when finally it was franchised and brought to the Philippines, however a lot of the things on the show disappointed me and a lot of my friends.

Let me start with the host Teresa Herrera, I think the outfit she wears as the episodes come along is getting too ghastly and hideous week after week. There was this one outfit in grey and pink which looked like it was made for a 12 year old but was just forced to be worn by her. No offense to her I know she is a very successful model, but can somebody tell her stylist to get another job…because he/she is not doing the job well. I hope Heidi Klum do not get to watch all this fashion fiascos

Second is the way , Apples Aberin lashed at the contestants, I can understand that it is their job to criticize and voice their opinion but the episode I watch where ms Aberin delivered a lecture to the contestants after the Nesvita challenge is simply uncalled for.
She lashed out on the contestants and instead of looking like she is simply voicing out her thoughts she appeared to look like a grade school teacher ranting on her students for not behaving, not very glamorous at all instead its cheap actually and incredibly embarrassing .

I like Rajo Laurel and Jojie Lloren, I think they are live up to their US counterparts, Tim Gunn and Michael Corrs. Rajo is very objective and professional, He looks very dignified and expensive and he looked like somebody whom one can really listen to for advice because his whole persona simply suggests the true meaning of FASHION. Jojie, is a very good mentor, always at his best and keeps his cool amidst all the brouhaha of the contestants. He is very objective and candid, yet he does it in a way that motivates people and boost for improvement.

I simply wanted to voice this out because I feel it’s important to consider in case there would be a season two. I still wish the best for the show. I AM STILL FAN; I just want the world to look at US (Filipinos) in a more professional and dignified atmosphere, after all we have always been especially when we are abroad we just tend to be really comfortable when we are at home
