In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Australia’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, a website asked their readers to vote for what songs readers thought deserved to be called camp classics. I’d like to call it Songs Every Gay Man Should Know.
As I scrolled through the list, I realized that I only know of a few songs. This may be due to the fact that I’m not really a music fanatic. Another reason may be that the songs on the list are all foreign and some of them may not have been played here, ever. Or if they were aired here, either I was too young to remember or was too oblivious to music.
As I expected, a lot of the songs in the list were performed by artists who have been elevated to the status of gay icon. And some of them are actually gay too! So without further ado, here are the top 50 Gayest Songs of All Time:

Oh wow. Thanks for that info! I don’t think it’s sad that you’re familiar with most of the songs. I think I should be the one castigated for not knowing most of these songs! lol!
