MSM? Men Having Sex With Men. This, according to the United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), is the politically correct term for men who engage in sexual intercourse with other men:

The term “men who have sex with men” – frequently shortened to MSM – describes a behaviour rather than a specific group of people. It includes self-identified gay, bisexual, or heterosexual men, many of whom may not consider themselves gay or bisexual.

MSM are often married, particularly where discriminatory laws or social stigma of male sexual relations exist.

Are there any of these MSMs here in the Philippines? But of course! Filmmaker Jowee Morel (Latak, Mga Paru-parong Rosas, and When a Gay Man Loves) is currently in the process of shooting a film about Men Having Sex With Men. The film is titled “Strictly Confidential – Confessions of Men (MSM The Movie Official Website). This film aims to raise public awareness about Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV. Morel has has recently filmed a documentary about HIV/AIDS in Indonesia.
