David Beckham, the gayest straight man on earth, is once again making us drool buckets and buckets in the new Emporio Armani underwear ad campaign! Oh Becks! (Source: People)
In other news, Victoria Beckham shares with Vanity Fair Italy that she has more in common with gay men than with women:
“I love women. I like them as friends, as interesting people to speak with. But I love gay men. I always say it. Inside me there is a gay man who wants to come out!

Welcome 2009 and welcome to a brand new year of kabaklaan here on “Bakla Ako, May Reklamo?”!
2008 was such a great year for the blog and we hope 2009 will be an equally good if not better year.
So let’s do a quick recap of what happened in 2008. Here are some highlights:
Early in the year, I launched the “Are You ‘A’ Gay?” video blog series, which turned out to be just a few episodes. I will no longer promise to start a new series nor to continue the series, I will just post whenever I feel like it. Besides, no one really watched the videos. Haha. It was also in January when I got gaybar-devirginized as I, along with some friends, visited not one, not two, but three gay bars in Manila! And who can forget the Cabalen Trinoma incident? I was one of the few people who got the chance to meet the infamous Anne from Cabalen! What an honor!
In February, I got to visit Batanes courtesy of Epson Philippines! And I won a printer by winning (I was first runner-up) the Epson in Batanes photo contest! I also got the chance to meet Christine Gambito aka HappySlip. Thanks to the people of Yehey!, I was able to go up onstage and ask HappySlip a question face to face! Not satisfied with that kind of mileage, I also got the chance to be interviewed on video by Janette Toral for the Digital Filipino Club. It was also during this month that I had the honor of meeting Danton Remoto as we, the FabCasters, recorded a very enlightening, educational, and fun podcast with him. In the latest issue of GQ, David Beckham was asked how he feels about being labeled as the “gayest straight man in Britain.” The uber-cool and uber-hot international celebrity has this to say about the label:
“Yes, I like that. When someone said that about me, it made me laugh and I was quite proud of it. To have that kind of effect on so many different people around the world, I was honoured. When people talk to me about being a gay icon I think of it as a great honour.”
Now that’s what I call a true gay icon – even if he’s a straight guy! Love you Becks! And I personally think that Becks is not only the gayest straight man in Britain, but the whole world over!

So they’re finally here! The much-awaited Armani underwear donned by sports and gay icon David Beckham.
In the past couple of weeks, some people have questioned what’s being packed inside these royal undies — saying that David’s bulge may just be literally packed. It is common knowledge that some underwear ads have models whose endowments are beefed up with balls of socks (or whatever material) to make them bigger than reality.
The reality, however, in David Beckham’s case, is that his is big. We learned this through his wife, Posh Spice Victoria Beckham:
“I’m proud I still have a really good sex life with David. He is very much in proportion.†Continuing on, Mrs David Beckham went on to tell what some would believe to be a bit too much information, saying, “He does have a huge one, though. He does. You can see it in the advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe!â€Â
Reports say that sales of the underwear brand shoot up after it was made known to the public that the Becks is endorsing Armani.
Would you buy the underwear because Becks is an endorser? Or would you rather buy magazines and drool over the ads? [More photos after the jump]
