Missed any queer indie movies lately? If you’re like me and have not seen “must-watch” indie films of late, then this is your chance to catch up! The Philippine Independent Filmmakers Cooperative (IFC), in cooperation with Robinsons Movieworld, is mounting the Queer Lovefest – a queer love film festival.
The festival runs from February 17 to February 23. Independent queer films to be showcased include ”Daybreak” (Adolfo Alix Jr.), ”Ang Laro sa Buhay ni Juan” (Jay Altarejos), “The Thank You Girls” (Bebs Gohetia), ”Heavenly Touch” and “Walang Kawala” (Joel Lamangan), “Rome and Juliet” (Connie Macatuno), “Boylets” and “Quicktrip” (Cris Pablo), “Dose” (Senedy Que) and “Boy” (Auraeus Solito).
The horniest gay men out there would most definitely want this to be their reality. I’m not the horniest gay man I know but I sure would love for this to come true. Charotzness. Just imagine your furniture are replaced by hot and hunky naked men (some of whom actually move and interact with you!).
You’ve seen Eating Out 1. You enjoyed its "Sloppy Seconds" sequel. Now get ready for Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat.
This third installment to the series seems to have been upped in the production value department. And not only that, the more important thing is that there are a lot of hot newcomers, hot men in this movie. So better watch out for this one. You definitely will want to eat all you can eat!
The full trailer of the upcoming film “In My Life” starring Vilma Santos-Recto, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz was launched on ABS-CBN and its affiliate stations. And boy was I amazed and amused.
This is something that I’m definitely looking forward to watching. Aside from the kissing scene that Luis and John Lloyd did in the film, the story and Ate Vi’s acting seem to draw me into this film.

“In My Life” is showing in Philippine theaters on September 16, 2009.
A Filipino "porn star" from Canada is at risk of getting deported back to the Philippines. Jammy Reyes, a 24-year old prostitute moved to Canada with his aunt and sister when he was just 11 years old has never applied to become a Canadian citizen, making his stay in the country illegal.
Reyes is quite a famous entity in the popular adult video-sharing website Xtube. As of this writing, Reyes, whose username on the site is badboijer, has 1,724 subscribers and 510,600 video views. His life story is all about drugs, crime and life on the streets.
At 16, he left his family home, dropped out of high school and became a prostitute. Then the drugs came in: ecstasy, crack cocaine and crystal meth. In order to feed his addiction, he started stealing credit cards from clients and threatening his aunt – who eventually put a restraining order against him. Reyes spent more than a year in jail and six months in rehab.
He is almost finished with his two-year probation. Interestingly, his life is also currently being featured, alongside 99 other male prostitutes from three different countries, in a Winnipeg art exhibit called 100 Stories About My Grandmother. The show is all about male prostitutes telling stories about their grandmothers – to show that people who work in the sex trade are just like everyone else. They, too, have families and lives beyond selling their meat.
The deportation sentence for Reyes will be released anytime soon and if he is indeed found unworthy of staying in Canada, he will be escorted back to the Philippines – a country he has not seen for years and a country he no longer considers home – within a week.

The ‘AUDIO’ side is actually a CD containing 6 international hits personally selected by Dingdong Dantes. Songs range from r&b/hip hop tracks to club hits and even a tender ballad. Songs like the #1 Billboard smash “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pitbull, club favourite “Shining Star” by Get Far, “Tender Love” by Jordan Knight and the infectious Latin-flavoured carrier track “Cucu (Oh Yeah)” by Miguel Fernadez, will give each buyer a different audio sensation once they hear it!
Some of you may want to buy this and experience Dingdong Dantes. I wonder what the “playful and sexy sides of Dingdong†means but I’m pretty sure Dingdong fans out there would love to grab a copy of this. Does it contain hot photos of Dingdong Dantes naked and being playful? I doubt it. One thing is for sure though, there are no video scandals or anything of teh sort featuring Dingdong Dantes.
