April 11th, 2008A four-second video of a guy jerking off is currently doing the rounds of emails, blogs, and MMS. Some allege that the guy wanking in the video is model-turned-PBB-Housemate-turned-actor-slash-model Victor Basa. Some claim that this is the newest scandal that has hit this young star rumored to be gay.
The video is showing a muscular (and really hot) guy sans clothing, right knee raised a little close to the camera, right hand playing with his member, against a backdrop of a wooden closet and an indoor plant.

Men in Puerto Gaylera
April 9th, 2008Whenever I get invited by friends for a weekend getaway to Puerto Galera, I never fail to decline. I don’t know why but Galera, or Gaylera as many would put it, is just not that appealing to me. Until two weekends ago when I decided to give Galera a chance and joined my friends for a drinking weekend. I did not feel like swimming in Galera’s waters so I said that I was just doing an overnight stay. Besides, I had other things to attend to that Sunday. The first and only time I’ve been to Galera (prior to this trip) was in 2005. That trip was, for me, a case of bad things happening to good gay people like me. Charot! The banca we were riding on the way to Galera from Batangas pier stopped in the middle of the sea due to some engine problems. The accommodations were really pathetic. My body was non-cooperative by striking me with fever and extreme headaches. Everywhere I went to dine, it took at least an hour to have my food served. It was chaos. That probably was the reason why I never liked Galera. Until that trip two weeks ago.

It’s Not Gerald Anderson, It’s Not a Sex Scandal!
March 16th, 2008Someone left a comment here and asked me if the guy on the “sex scandal” video in his blog was indeed former PBB Teen Edition Housemate Gerald Anderson.
The 9-second video is kinda blurry and shows a guy “playing with his noodle.” And just like the so-called “Piolo Pascual sex scandal video,” this one seems like a hoax. I’ve replayed the video countless of times and the guy does look like Gerald but I’m pretty sure it’s not him. The guy in the video looks a little bit older than Gerald. And I’m thinking that Gerald is supposed to be half-Pinoy half-something (right?), so the guy’s wang coouldn’t be Gerald’s as it looked a bit too teeny weeny for a half-bred guy.
The guy in the video is good-looking though, and looks like one of the people I always see chatting on guys4men.

Baywatch Hunk Jaason Simmons Comes Out
March 11th, 2008Ah, Baywatch. When I was younger, one of my guilty pleasures was watching Baywatch. I was so interested with the stories in each episode that every time Baywatch was on, I would drop everything I was doing and stay glued to the TV. Okay, that was a lie. I was not that interested in the stories but was interested in the lifeguards! Back then, I was more interested in the female lifeguards than I was with the male ones. Yes, I went through that stage!
However, I will not deny that the guys on the show did strike my curiosity. I think that was the time when I started fearing that I might turn out to be gay. Like many people out there – straight and gay – I fantasized about drowning, calling for help, and ending up being rescued by a lifeguard. And yes, the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation that would progress into something similar to that drink they serve in bars – Sex on the Beach!
When I finally came to terms with my sexuality, I secretly hoped that that fantasy would come true. That probably is one of the reasons why I never bothered learning how to swim. But then again, I knew that those Baywatch hunks were straight and there was no chance in hell that they would turn out gay.
Until now.

Daybreak
January 16th, 2008It’s almost February! And unlike last year and the years prior, I have something to look forward to! I have never spent Valentine’s Day with a special someone, nor at the very least spent the day of love in someone’s arms (that should be good enough, right?). And even if I’m gonna be spending the day of love this year by lonesome and loveless self, I’m not gonna be nega about it. At least I have something to look forward to.
I’m talking about Daybreak, a story about the dynamics of two men over the course of a day deciding whether to leave their partners and be together. Starring Coco Martin and Paolo Rivero and directed by the talented Adolf Alix Jr., Daybreak (from Bicycle Pictures) is a movie that many of us, gay men and straight-folk alike, will surely learn a lot from.
