My personal weekend was great. But with great things come great disappointments. I missed out on Victor Basa’s eviction from the PBB house as well as the nomination night wherein two of our Magic Hotties inside Kuya’s yellow house where eliminated! Gadangit! This is the reason for my confusion! The nomination of Jon Avila/Mullaly (please Star Magic, DITCH AVILA and RETAIN MULLALY!) and Will Devaughn! Now whom should I spend my hard-earned money for? Whose name will appear on my Globe bill (wish ko lang that were possible)? Jon or Will? Jon or Will?

The press conference and sneak preview of the movie Batanes and the tour of Batanes may have been canceled, but that did not stop the organizers and sponsors of the event — Asian Spirit — from giving us a good time and a wonderful taste of Batanes, even if we were in Boracay.
The press conference and the sneak preview of Batanes (Love Knows No Borders) was conducted at the beautiful THE TIDES BORACAY. After the press conference and after the sneak preview of the film, the bloggers at the event (Jayvee, Juned, Ajay Jusay, Markku, and AJ Matela) invited the film’s lead actress Iza Calzado, director Adolf Alix, Jr., and producer Arleen Cuevas to answer some questions about the movie, its making, the actors, and of course, Batanes (the place).

Budding Filipino Actor Kris Martinez admitted in an interview with PEP that he is open to having a relationship with the same sex. Kris started his career in show business when he became the first runner-up in Close Up to Fame in 2005. He also starred in Twilight Dancers, a film about macho dancers, in 2006. His biggest project so far, we assume, would be this movie with Cristine Reyes and Andrew Schwimmer, Green Paradise, set for release anytime soon.
In a recent interview, this hot actor revealed that he is not closing his doors on gay relationships. It has been rumored that he has a gay sponsor in the US, who sends him money on a regular basis. He denied this but said that there is a gay man from the US who sends him stuff but not money. When asked if it is possible or impossible for someone like him to be involved in a relationship with a gay man, he replied:

Along with brothers Baron and Donald Geisler (the two-in-1 housemates), and Formula Racing Goddess Gaby dela Merced, and Ultimate Pasaway Ethel Booba (jowaers of hot hot hot Janvier Daly!), our little boy Victor will at the mercy of the general viewing (and non-viewing) public.
Why should we vote for Victor instead of Baron and Donald? Uhm, Victor is hot. We won’t vote for him because he was, and still is, rumored to be gay. If you’ve been watching this season, you would recall that some two weeks ago, hot model turned celebrity housemate Will Devaughn was tasked by Kuya (Big Brother) through Boy Abunda, to ask Victor if he was indeed gay (check out video, 6:08/-1:57).Victor denied this by saying that as far as he can tell, he’s straight. Oh well, straight or not, we don’t really care. All we care about is that Victor doesn’t get eiminated this week. It’s too soon. Besides, we haven’t seen enough (we’re insatiable) of his hot bod. And perhaps some shower scenes or barenaked scenes? We’ll just have to wait and see. And vote.
