Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat

November 10th, 2009

You’ve seen Eating Out 1. You enjoyed its "Sloppy Seconds" sequel. Now get ready for Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat.

Eating Out 3 All You Can Eat

This third installment to the series seems to have been upped in the production value department. And not only that, the more important thing is that there are a lot of hot newcomers, hot men in this movie. So better watch out for this one. You definitely will want to eat all you can eat!

In My Life (Full Trailer)

August 23rd, 2009

The full trailer of the upcoming film “In My Life” starring Vilma Santos-Recto, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz was launched on ABS-CBN and its affiliate stations. And boy was I amazed and amused.

This is something that I’m definitely looking forward to watching. Aside from the kissing scene that Luis and John Lloyd did in the film, the story and Ate Vi’s acting seem to draw me into this film.

So here’s the full trailer.

“In My Life” is showing in Philippine theaters on September 16, 2009.

Piolo Pascual for Bench (Manila Screens Today, Too!)

July 22nd, 2009

Piolo Pascual semi naked

Ah! Papa Piolo.  Who doesn’t love him? Some of his billboards along EDSA have been taken down recently, and I think it is for good reason.  People just get distracted too much! (I also get distracted by that Folded & Hung billboard with British Pinoy model Justin Hills).

But have you seen the latest oh-so-hot TV commercials for Bench starring Papa P?

Check out the videos below where Piolo is decently naked. And no, these are not sex scandals!

Freddie Stroma: Harry Potter 6’s Cormac McLaggen

July 20th, 2009

Freddie Stroma

If you’ve already seen the latest installment of the movie adaptation of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter Series, then I’m pretty sure you noticed that hot young man playing Cormac McLaggen.  While the character is a little forgettable in the books, the actor playing him in Harry Potter 6: The Half-Blood Prince isn’t.  At least for me.

Freddie Stroma Cormac McLaggen naked

Immediately after watching the film on iMax (SM North Edsa) with blogger and Plurk friends, I Googled Cormac McLaggen and found out that the oh-so hot actor playing the character is Freddie Stroma.

Freddie Stroma is a 21-year old British actor. This is where I stop telling you more about him.  Google had me at British. (If you want to know more about this hot man, go to the Freddie Stoma Online fansite).

(All photos from Freddie Stroma Online fansite)

You know what happens when a relatively unknown gets cast in such a high profile movie as Harry Potter?  All his or previous works – be it modeling, TV appearances, film cameos, theater performances, etc. – are dug up and posted online.  And lucky for me (or for us all), there are HOT HOT HOT footages and photos of Freddie Stroma!

Acne Underwear has this footage of a guy who allegedly is Freddie Stroma (but he denies it is him) and how good he is at gymnastic rings. See how flexible he is!  But wait there’s more!  There’s something at the end of the video for us! :) Is this guy really Freddie Stroma naked?

Here’s another video from Acne Underwear with Freddie dancing in various shapes, sizes and colors of underwear! And this video IS really Freddie Stroma! Hot hot hot!  Dance with me? Charot!

Oh dear.  I think I have a new British crush. Then again, I’m on the Ed Westwick fans club. lol

(Producer: Auraeus Solito, Endi “Hai” Balbuena, Screenplay: Jimmy Flores, Arturo Calo, Cast: Aeious Asin, Aries Pena, Madelaine Nicolas. Schedule: 19th Apr, 11:30am and 24th Apr, 7:15pm at The Substation)

Boy is a coming-of-age story about a boy who falls in love with a macho dancer:

A young budding poet, who is unnamed, observes lip-synching drag-queens and dancing rent-boys in a gay bar one evening and finds himself attracted to Aries, who comes from a poorer part of town. Selling his action heroes and comic books so as to be able to afford Aries for one night, he buys Aries at the bar and brings him home for the new year. Sparks fly while celebratory fireworks go off outside the house and the boys forge a fragile connection that neither of them is certain will last. This is an idealistic, coming-of-age tale of a sensitive boy who arrives at his first lesson about love and who learns to grow confidently into his own sexuality.

Boy is a finalist for the Asian Feature Film Competition.

Cinema Today is a section of the festival about films of today that will become tomorrow’s classics. From drama to comedy to documentaries, presenting the realities of today in this scope of films by some of the most watched filmmakers. The following Filipino films are featured:
