Rainbow Rights Project is launching the Philippines’ first ever LGBT-produced and oriented radio show ever.
On Saturday, November 21, tune in to DWBL AM, 1242 kHz from 2:30 to 3:30 PM as Radio Rainbow Pilipinas airs its maiden episode.

Masarap, malutong Ding Dong, Ding Dong!
No I did not do any hanky panky with Dingdong Dantes. He’s so not my type. Well, he was during the TGIS days, but not anymore. Now that he has already had his nipples (allegedly) surgically altered.
Anyway, Universal Records has recently released this new “Audio/Visual Project†starring Dingdong Dantes.
So what’s in it? According to the Universal Records Press Release:
The ‘VISUAL’ side includes MINI-COFFEE TABLE BOOK/SCRAPBOOK containing exclusive Dingdong Dantes images and a DVD featuring 4 Dingdong Dantes music videos shot by topnotch music video & commercial directors exclusively for this project. Directors like Louie Ignacio (”Cucu (Oh Yeah)” music video), Rico Gutierrez & Shoti Benares (”I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” music video), Adrian Calumpang (”Shining Star” music video) and Treb Monteros (”Tender Love” music video), worked closely with Dingdong Dantes in conceptualizing the look and feel of each music video. These videos are, after all, Dingdong’s babies. The beautifully photographed Mini-Coffee Table Book/ Scapbook showcases the serious, the playful and the sexy sides of Dingdong. These EXCLUSIVE photos are only available in this book and has never been published elsewhere. Also included are some behind the scenes pictures taken during his music video shoots.
The ‘AUDIO’ side is actually a CD containing 6 international hits personally selected by Dingdong Dantes. Songs range from r&b/hip hop tracks to club hits and even a tender ballad. Songs like the #1 Billboard smash “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pitbull, club favourite “Shining Star” by Get Far, “Tender Love” by Jordan Knight and the infectious Latin-flavoured carrier track “Cucu (Oh Yeah)” by Miguel Fernadez, will give each buyer a different audio sensation once they hear it!
Some of you may want to buy this and experience Dingdong Dantes. I wonder what the “playful and sexy sides of Dingdong†means but I’m pretty sure Dingdong fans out there would love to grab a copy of this. Does it contain hot photos of Dingdong Dantes naked and being playful? I doubt it. One thing is for sure though, there are no video scandals or anything of teh sort featuring Dingdong Dantes.

If you’ve already seen the latest installment of the movie adaptation of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter Series, then I’m pretty sure you noticed that hot young man playing Cormac McLaggen. While the character is a little forgettable in the books, the actor playing him in Harry Potter 6: The Half-Blood Prince isn’t. At least for me.
Immediately after watching the film on iMax (SM North Edsa) with blogger and Plurk friends, I Googled Cormac McLaggen and found out that the oh-so hot actor playing the character is Freddie Stroma.

You know what happens when a relatively unknown gets cast in such a high profile movie as Harry Potter? All his or previous works – be it modeling, TV appearances, film cameos, theater performances, etc. – are dug up and posted online. And lucky for me (or for us all), there are HOT HOT HOT footages and photos of Freddie Stroma!

Sometime around March of this year, I chanced upon my friend Gibbs Cadiz’s blog entry about a musical called The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I really wanted to watch the show but my busy schedule made me miss it. Then I forgot about it.
I only remembered it about two or three weeks ago when the Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals aired on ESPN. I’m not really an adept speller but when I was younger, I’ve always wanted to participate in one. I can recall my younger self browsing through dictionaries and encyclopedias searching for difficult words to memorize and familiarize myself with. One of them was triskaidekaphobia – the fear of the number 13. I now forget the language of origin and alternative pronunciations. Oh, those were my good old days.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a one act musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn and a book by Rachel Sheinkin. The show centers around a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School (however, Putnam County, NY does have a village called Putnam Valley). Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups.

The two Davids of American Idol’s Season 7 – David Cook and David Archuleta will be performing LIVE in Manila on May 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds!
It looks like Jomari Yllana’s production firm was successful in making this happen.

You read that right! Boyzone is the first ever boyband to have a gay couple in their video. (But this is not the first video in history to show a homosexual couple kissing).
One of its members, Stephen Gately (who cam out in 1999) is paired with a male actor while the other members are paired with females. in their latest video for the single “Better”.
The Boyzone boys (oh well, they’re grown men now) originally wanted their own partners to appear opposite them in the video but none of the other halves agreed. They eventually decided to just have actors play opposite each member. It is interesting to see that such openness and hopefully acceptance, is being displayed in a video of a group who once rocked (and still do) people’s socks off. The decision to put a gay couple in the video was the whole band’s and the other members pushed Gately and said that he had to do this and that it would be fantastic.

And indeed it is! The video is quite heartwarming and the song actually made me cry a tear or two. Sob. Sob.

It’s all over the Internet now! Clay Aiken is rumored to have come out as gay (finally!) via People Magazine’s latest issue set for release in the United States on Wednesday (US Time).
In the (not-yet-confirmed-to-be-true-and-might-be-a-hoax) cover of the upcoming issue of People, the American Idol alumnus and his newborn son Parker Foster Aiken are seen on the cover with a banner story of Aiken saying: “Yes, I’m gay.”
If this were true, then we only have this to say: Yes, we know. We always have.
Clay Aiken has long been rumored to be gay but he has remained mum about his sexuality. Rumors of him soliciting gay sex online have also been around for a while now.
So is Clay Aiken gay and has he finally come out of the closet? We’ll find out in a few hours!
