The Dingdong Dantes Experience

No I did not do any hanky panky with Dingdong Dantes.  He’s so not my type. Well, he was during the TGIS days, but not anymore.  Now that he has already had his nipples (allegedly) surgically altered.

Anyway, Universal Records has recently released this new “Audio/Visual Project” starring Dingdong Dantes.

So what’s in it? According to the Universal Records Press Release:

The ‘VISUAL’ side includes MINI-COFFEE TABLE BOOK/SCRAPBOOK containing exclusive Dingdong Dantes images and a DVD featuring 4 Dingdong Dantes music videos shot by topnotch music video & commercial directors exclusively for this project. Directors like Louie Ignacio (”Cucu (Oh Yeah)” music video), Rico Gutierrez & Shoti Benares (”I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” music video), Adrian Calumpang (”Shining Star” music video) and Treb Monteros (”Tender Love” music video), worked closely with Dingdong Dantes in conceptualizing the look and feel of each music video. These videos are, after all, Dingdong’s babies. The beautifully photographed Mini-Coffee Table Book/ Scapbook showcases the serious, the playful and the sexy sides of Dingdong. These EXCLUSIVE photos are only available in this book and has never been published elsewhere. Also included are some behind the scenes pictures taken during his music video shoots.

The ‘AUDIO’ side is actually a CD containing 6 international hits personally selected by Dingdong Dantes. Songs range from r&b/hip hop tracks to club hits and even a tender ballad. Songs like the #1 Billboard smash “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pitbull, club favourite “Shining Star” by Get Far, “Tender Love” by Jordan Knight and the infectious Latin-flavoured carrier track “Cucu (Oh Yeah)” by Miguel Fernadez, will give each buyer a different audio sensation once they hear it!

Some of you may want to buy this and experience Dingdong Dantes.  I wonder what the “playful and sexy sides of Dingdong” means but I’m pretty sure Dingdong fans out there would love to grab a copy of this. Does it contain hot photos of Dingdong Dantes naked and being playful? I doubt it. One thing is for sure though, there are no video scandals or anything of teh sort featuring Dingdong Dantes.

So queber ko if he was one of the 25 Sexiest Men of the World? Kebs talaga, everchynna hortaleza beauty products – naghahasa din!

If you buy this, I won’t take it against you.  Besides, to each his own naman.

Extra: Did you know that the word “dingdong” is slang for penis?  So let’s see how big Dingdong’s dingdong is!

The NoH8 Project on Tumblr

I started noticing a lot of people posting their NoH8 photos on Tumblr

earlier today.  So what I did was to reblog all NoH8 photos I saw on Tumblr.  And I did that through the new Tumblr blog I created: The NoH8 Project on Tumblr.

And boy are Tumblrs fast!  The blog now has a total of 37 Tumblr followers and we have been receiving quite a number of contributions.  Thank you!

And even though I am not from California (I’m not even in the United States – I’m in the Philippines, and I’m not even American!), I believe in this campaign.  I have been following news and updates about Prop8 for as long as I can remember.  I believe in a cause like this.  I believe that no matter where you are in the world, no matter what race, color, religion, or sexual orientation you have, hate (H8) is never a good thing.

The predominantly Catholic nation of the Philippines is still worlds away from gay marriage or marriage equality, but it does not mean that the LGBT Community and our friends here do not have something to fight for. Believe it or not, we still do not have laws that protect the basic rights of members of the LGBT community.

What we are fighting for now is the enactment of the Anti-Discrimination Bill, which has been a bill for almost a decade now.  I believe that a campaign similar to NoH8 can be done here and I really hope we can do something to further our cause and our call for EQUAL (not special) rights.

So to all those who followed the NoH8 Tumblr Project and those who have contributed, Thank you!

Daniel Radcliffe: Naked on Equus in Broadway

Harry Potter is all grown-up!  Daniel Radcliffe, the young man who plays Harry Potter on the big screen, is baring it all in Broadway as he plays the lead role in Equus.

Fake photos of Daniel and his twat have sprawled all over the Internet in the last couple of months and people have been crazy about them!  Of course many people realized later on that those were fakies.

So has anyone ever taken photos or videos of Daniel in his full frontal glory while doing Equus?Well, for those interested, today is your lucky day!  We have photos and the video too!

Gay Filipinos and the 2008 Gay Pride

The weekend that has just passed was a big event for many gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders as the whole world commemorated the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City on June 28 1969.

Here in the Philippines, Gay Pride Parties were organized in Malate and Makati (some said that street parties and festivities were not allowed in the city of Manila).

Pride festivities were also held at the University of the Philippines in Diliman on June 27.  That was followed by an LGBT Forum and a cultural night. Photos from the forum from our transgender friend Pau Fontanos here.

We all know that gay men, Filipino gay men to be more specific and nationalistic, are very talented individuals — in whatever field they are and wherever they are.  Proof of that is our local gay pride festivities and the participation of our gay (and lesbian, bisexual, transgender) friends who are far away from the Philippines. We give kudos to these men and women for their courage, passion, and pride in bearing the Filipino gay flag all over the world!

In Toronto, Canada, Filipino members of the gay community represented the country in colorful and beautiful ternos.  Check out the photos at Adobo Republic!

In the United States, the Filipino contingent wowed audiences with their exceptional performance during the march in Chicago, Illinois.  It was the first time in the history of Chicago’s Gay Pride Festivities that there was a separate Filipino contingent. The Filipino contingent made their first mark a glamorous one in the 39-year history of Chicago’s Gay Pride by winning the Best Organization Float award! Hari ng Negros 2008

It’s the season for Hari ng Negros! The hottest men down south will vie for the crown of Hari ng Negros on June 28, 2008. For those of you who are not familiar with Hari ng Negros, it is a competition for males representing a town or city in either Occidental or Oriental Negros. Every year, contestants go through a rigorous screening process, familiarization tour of the island and training near an active volcano1.

The Island of Negros in Central Philippines is rich in history, myths and legends. Most centered around the majestic and mystical Kanlaon Volcano. It is here where the legend of the Hari ng Negros the Ginoong Canlaon was born. This is not any ordinary pageant where trophies and cash prizes are awarded to the best contender but also a great responsibility and obligation is bestowed2.

The first winner of this competition is our hot blog friend (who is also our crush, lolz) Emman Labirua.

This year, the competition seems like a tough one for the contestants. The online polls for Mr. Photogenic is now up (1 vote per IP address only) and without batting an eyelash, we have already chosen our favorites:
