That’s So Gay? Knock it Off!
The poster above is part of an advertising campaign that aims to raise awareness about the prevalence and consequences of anti-LGBT bias and behavior in schools in the US. The campaig, I personally believe, can also help us educate more people here in the Philippines about the mindset on homophobic jokes and slurs like “that’s so gayâ€Â. Most people do not recognize the consequences, but the casual use of this language often carries over into more overt harassment.
