That’s So Gay? Knock it Off!

The poster above is part of an advertising campaign that aims to raise awareness about the prevalence and consequences of anti-LGBT bias and behavior in schools in the US.  The campaig, I personally believe, can also help us educate more people here in the Philippines about the mindset on homophobic jokes and slurs like “that’s so gay”.  Most people do not recognize the consequences, but the casual use of this language often carries over into more overt harassment.

Part of this campaign are three videos, two of which topbilled by Hollywood celebrities Wanda Sykes and Hillary Duff. Help spread the word! Go to the Thinkb4youspeak website to learn more about the campaign.

Gossip Girl’s Gay Character Revealed

***SPOILER ALERT***

Gossip Girl fans will be happy (or not?) to hear the news about the character who will come out of the closet.

During the mid-season break (caused by the WGA strike), it was revealed by insiders that one character will come out as gay. Many expected that this character was gonna come out in the latest episode, which aired on April 21, but they were dismayed as no hints were given nor was there any coming out that happened.

I’ve seen episode 14 and dissecting that character’s dialogue in the later part of the episode actually gave me a good idea that it was in fact that character. But before I spoil it for all of you, let me just say that it is not really shocking news.

Is This Victor Basa?

A four-second video of a guy jerking off is currently doing the rounds of emails, blogs, and MMS. Some allege that the guy wanking in the video is model-turned-PBB-Housemate-turned-actor-slash-model Victor Basa. Some claim that this is the newest scandal that has hit this young star rumored to be gay.

The video is showing a muscular (and really hot) guy sans clothing, right knee raised a little close to the camera, right hand playing with his member, against a backdrop of a wooden closet and an indoor plant.
